Big change
Driving national sector reform and health integration, influencing policy and streamlining funding.
Big change
Facilitating collaboration and partnership
This will be achieved by facilitating collaboration and partnership working to ensure the strong and unified voice of social care is represented at a national level, effectively influencing policy development and funding decisions. The pillar will support delivery of both existing and new social care projects that deliver real change, and mechanisms will be established to enable effective integration with health initiatives from the early stages.
We’ll know we have succeeded when:
- Effective national social care projects are delivered that realise economies of scale, process standardisation, data improvements, a better and more consistent user experience, value for money and a reduction in duplication.
- National digital health projects deliver benefits for social care including making user journeys more seamless for those receiving care and improving joint working.
- The collective voice of social care is heard at a national and strategic level and is considered effectively in policy development, particularly in the health and social care integration space.
- Funding for digital in social care is more streamlined, less complex and fragmented, and facilitates the realisation of bigger impacts on service improvement.
